Synopsis:

In today’s reading from Genesis, it’s unclear if Abraham immediately knows that the three travelers he greets near the entrance of his tent are divine, or not, but he greets them as if they were. Since Abram’s first appearance in the First Testament, this first Patriarch has exhibited great faith and trust in God. From that foundation three world religions will grow.
