Reflection synopsis:

In the scriptures for the First Sunday of Lent, Eve and Adam are tempted to eat fruit from the “Tree of Knowledge” and Jesus is tempted to turn stones into bread. As a result, we have been encouraged to give up things.We like like to follow Christ’s example. Perhaps, we might instead, demonstrate our trust in God by expressing our love for all of creation.
