Synopsis:. This Sunday we hear Matthew’s version of the events following the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem.  Luke’s Gospel tells a very different story.  To quote Mary Mother of Jesus, “How can this be?” Well it might be  because we need both.  Think of them as Christmas gifts from the Gospels.
