Synopsis:

As we seek rejoicing and joy on this, the Third Sunday of Advent, we might be puzzled by the lack of joy in the world around us and wonder how we can rejoice. Over and over again, however, our scriptures show that real joy is to be found in our faith in God and within each of us, not in the symbols of security from this world.
